New hooks, designs and styles. Identification of parts and descriptions

New fish hooks.

Circle hook is identified as a hook with a generally circular shape and a point whichs turns inward, pointing directly back at the shank at a 90 degees or more with no off set to the point. The size is determined by gap size. See chart below.

J hook is identified as a hook with a generally circular shape and a point which turns generally parallel to the hook shank. The size is determined by gap size. See chart below.

Sizes of all salt water hooks are based on gap sizes.

1//0 = gap .100 to .199
2/0 = gap .200 to .299
3/0 = gap .300 to .399
4/0 = gap .400 to .499
5/0 = gap .500 to .599
6/0 = gap .600 to .699
7/0 = gap .700 to .799
8/0 = gap .800 to .899
9/0 = gap .900 to .999
10/0 = gap 1.00 to 1.99

etc.
